Burns Lunch

Thanks to everyone who came along to our 4th annual Burns Lunch on Sunday 25th January.  Last year we filled our private function suite with approximately 60 guests.  So this year we had two choices; firstly, we could limit our numbers and simply invite last years guests back.  Or we could go for broke, move everything into the arena, and hope that we managed to fill it.

And that's what we did!  So Burns Lunch 2009 saw almost 150 guests join us for this extra special celebration (remember, this year heralds the beginning of Homecoming 2009 - which is lining up to be an incredibly exciting year for Scotland). 

The menu and entertainment were as well received as ever, and we were delighted with the number of positive comments we received about the quality of our catering.  Well done kitchen team and thanks to MacSween for making really good haggis.  On a personal note, it was the first time I've heard Ann Fisher sing, and it was absolutely delightful. Finally, no Burns Lunch at Deeside Activity Park is complete without Ken's Address to the Haggis - as captivating and exciting as ever.
