About Us:

Based on Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Deeside Activity Park is a family owned and run business on the edge of The Cairngorm National Park, we are a close working team that seem to always provide a family orientated atmosphere, giving everyone a warm friendly farming folk welcome.

Royal Deeside is very well known to be the premier outdoor playground for lovers of adventure sports, and boasts several castles and stately homes including Balmoral, world class whisky and gin distilleries, an abundance of scenic walks to suit all levels, many picturesque towns and villages.

Deeside Activity Park has a wide and extensive range of exciting outdoor activities for the perfect family day out, we are only 45 minutes from the centre of Aberdeen, we offer activities ranging from Quad bike trekking around our mud-splattered course, to Kart Racing on our asphalt racing circuit, or how about hitting the bulls-eye on our fully automatic Archery range or smashing some clays with our fully qualified instructors. In addition, we also offer amazing 4x4 off-road driving here on Royal Deeside in our Landrover Defender 110’s, or take it easy and learn to Fly Fishing on our very own Loch, or even try some Rifle target shooting with us at in our shooting range.

Our facilities include an award winning coffee shop and farm shop, corporate conference suite, (Bull Ring) and we also have 3 luxury holiday cottages up on the farm at Cairnton.

The coffee shop isn’t our main business, it is there to supplement our activities and give our guests the opportunity for refreshments and for locals and tourists to enjoy delicious home cooked food.  The unique thing about our coffee shop business is that the beef provided in farm shop and coffee shop is all our own famous Cairnton Aberdeen Angus, which is bred on Cairnton Farm, by Farmer Ken Howie himself.

At Deeside Activity Park we do a lot to ensure we are sustainable and are very proud to say that in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, 2016 & 2017 we received the Gold Tourism Award, from Visit Scotland.

We're open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm, all year round, so come see us soon.
