Cairnton Aberdeen Angus Steak Celebration - rescheduled to Friday 19th March.

Following on from the phenomenal success of our last Steak Celebration evening, we've decided to host another event on Friday 19th March.

The idea originally came about as a response to the the Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight promotion of all things good about Scotland's produce We decided to jump on the band wagon and get involved, and being beef farmers, it seemed that an Aberdeen Angus Steak Celebration was the obvious solution.

The evening took the form of a 3 course fine dining experience, majoring on our own Aberdeen Angus steak, and each course being packed full of fresh, local, quality produce.  The twist being that we displayed the meat in it's uncut form, and diners were treated to a little information about the beef and were then given the opportunity to choose their cut of meat and the size.  This is something we've seen often on the continent or in other parts of the world, but never here in the UK.

It was a hugely popular night which fully booked out very early and was very well received, so in the heat of the moment, we promised we'd hold another.

Now, in January 2010, an Aberdeen Angus bull smashed the previous record and sold for a whopping £75,000.  This seemed like a time for celebration and the ideal excuse for another steak night.

So book Friday 19th March into your diaries and give us a call to reserve your slot.  The details for this event are below.
