Deeside Activity Park is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Ken and Margaret Howie, and is a fantastic example of a successful rural farm diversification project. 

Their home is Cairnton Farm, which lies just 2 miles north of Deeside Activity Park and it’s here they breed their prize-winning Aberdeen Angus cattle.

In 1995 when nearby Dess Estate was split up, Ken and Margaret purchased the North West corner with the intention of expanding the small activity business that had been operating out of Cairnton Farm. 

As business has thrived throughout the years, Ken and Margaret have gradually modified and improved the park. Check out the timeline below to see the changes that it has seen throughout the years;
